The Studio Atlanta Dance opened its doors in 1983 and has been providing high quality dance training in the Atlanta area ever since.
Our administration and faculty come from prestigious backgrounds and have a strong passion and dedication to teaching. Our faculties' dance training and experience allow them to provide students with challenging yet nurturing dance classes. Their commitment to The Studio has created a family oriented environment for all students, children through adult.
The Studio Atlanta Dance offers dance classes for ages 2 1/2 - adult in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip-Hop, Yoga, Pilates and more. Our students, like our faculty, have committed themselves to our program. These students begin their dance training as young as 2 1/2 and continue through their last performance at 18 only to return to dance in our Adult program. Our dance schedule allows students to manage and excel in other activities such as school plays, orchestra, etc. while maintaining their dance commitment.
The Studio is happy to serve the community through dance performances and off-site dance training. Our dance companies have performed around the city including, but not limited to National Dance Day, Smyrna Jonquil Festival and local schools' Arts Night. The Studio Atlanta Dance works with local schools providing them with the same quality instruction at their facility. Current schools participating include Suzuki, Covered Bridge Academy and Montessori, Covenant Christian and The Goddard Schools. The Studio Atlanta Dance managed the Jr. Hawk Dance Team from 1996 - 2001.
The Studio provides the
perfect place for children to grow artistically, while gaining a genuine
love for all forms of dance. When students graduate, they truly can say they have received a well-rounded dance experience making them more appealing for college programs and teaching positions. The Studio also provides Adults with the
most well-rounded professional classes for all levels, beginner through
professional.
